Altasaurus Bone Fragment

Genuine slice (unpolished), of an Altasaurus bone. The Altasaurus was a member of the Sauropod group of dinosaurs that existed during the middle of the Jurassic period (also known as the Bathonian, 168.3 to 166.1 million years ago). These dinosaurs were thought to weigh 22 tonne and ranged from 12-15m in length. These fragments were found in Morocco and have been authenticated.
